The global economy is experiencing unprecedented transformation, shaped by rapid technological advancements, climate change, geopolitical shifts, demographic transitions, and evolving socio-economic priorities. Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital platforms, big data, and automation are redefining economic systems, governance, businesses, labour markets, and societal interactions. While these developments present new opportunities for innovation, productivity, and inclusive growth, they also raise pressing concerns regarding digital inequality, ethical governance, cybersecurity, employment transitions, environmental sustainability, and equitable access to technological advancements.
Simultaneously, persistent global challenges including climate change, resource scarcity, widening inequalities, public health concerns, food security, and economic uncertainties underscore the need for integrated and interdisciplinary approaches to sustainable development. Addressing these complex issues requires collaboration across disciplines to develop innovative, evidence-based, and policy-oriented solutions that foster resilient, inclusive, and sustainable economies.
The International Conference on Advancing Economics (ICAE 3.0), themed "Emerging Technologies and Interdisciplinary Pathways to Sustainable and Inclusive Economies," provides a vibrant platform for academicians, researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, practitioners, and students to deliberate on contemporary economic and societal challenges. The conference seeks to promote interdisciplinary dialogue on diverse areas including sustainable development, economic policy, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, governance, international relations, public health, environmental sustainability, media and communication, social innovation, and emerging global issues. By facilitating the exchange of cutting-edge research, innovative ideas, and best practices, the conference aims to strengthen collaboration between academia, industry, government, and civil society. ICAE 3.0 aspires to contribute towards informed policymaking, responsible technological advancement, and sustainable solutions that advance inclusive economic development and societal well-being in an increasingly interconnected world.
